THE GEAR
Sure, there’s a lot of thematic role-playing clothing out there. Plenty of t-shirts with funny puns or catchy designs. A world of costumery and cosplay gear. There’s even co-branded Converse, Champion, and Reyn Spooner products. But there’s never really been a lifestyle clothing brand designed from the ground up for role-players. A brand that considers how we play, and how we want to turn up to play.
All KONDORIE products are designed to be functional, comfortable, and stylish. To be worn as easily to your regular game, as they are to your big night out.
THE NAME
KONDORIE is a word taken from Tolkien’s early exploration of the elvish language Quenya (true geekery here). It literally translates to “martial ardour”. Which is pretty appropriate for a brand designed for role-players who have a fierce, passionate enthusiasm for battle.
THE KICK
STARTER
It takes a lot to launch a lifestyle clothing brand. Especially one with technical materials and product features. So, rather than invest all of our money in inventory, and struggle to get the word out, we thought we’d do things differently.
So we’re launching via KICKSTARTER, with the help of our friends at LAUNCH BOOM.
